Blue Parrot’s First Time Trying Pineapple Juice Is Impossible to Resist
Exotic birds are fun to look at, sure, but everyone overlooks the fact that exotic birds are also some of the funniest pets you could possibly own. They can bumble about doing funny things, just like a cat or a dog, but unlike cats or dogs, they’re sometimes able to crack jokes right back at you!
One fancy blue bird had the perfect opportunity to try some pineapple juice recently, and he went for it:
Tamara’s “Blue Chicken,” whose name is Kiwi, looks like he loves pineapple juice. I totally understand, since pineapple juice is, in my opinion, one of the best fruit juices money can buy.
The glass is completely empty in the video, but that isn’t stopping Kiwi from getting as much of the tasty juice as he can off the sides. He’s just helping mom clean up her dishes! If she didn’t want him to help, she should’ve put it in the dishwasher, obviously. He doesn’t get more than a few drops in, but he seems to really enjoy what he does get!
The “blue chicken” in the video is actually an Indian Ringneck parrot – not to be confused with the Blue Andulusian, which is legitimately a blue variety of chicken. She just says it to be funny, and he is pretty chicken-like: loud, obnoxious, loves to strut around.
As the name would suggest, Indian Ringneck parrots hail from India. They live primarily in the forests and feast mostly on seeds and tropical fruits they find there, which includes pineapples. No wonder Kiwi loved it so much!
